West Virginia Sunrise
This fall Jenn, Aidan & I made our trip to the mountains of WV for the fall color. Jenn’s parents joined us this year for some hiking and sightseeing. We went the first week of October and were there while the leaves were reaching peak color. We stayed in the Canaan Valley so that we could be centrally located to some of the places we wanted to visit. One such place was the Dolly Sods Wilderness (Part of the Monogahela National Forest) which has some stunning scenery. One place within the wilderness is called Bear Rock. This is a long drive off of the paved road but well worth the drive if you are in the area. I believe this is the 2nd highest peak in the area at roughly 4000 ft above sea level. One morning I made the hour long drive by myself and captured this image a twilight.
